Writer's Block: Prying Eyes

Have you ever read someone's private writings (journal, diary, email, letters, etc.) without their permission?

View 504 Answers

ALL THE TIME.

I mean, I never read Ashley's diaries when we were kids.... 0.- haha. it was never very rewarding, because everything she wrote about, I already knew. There was nothin new there.

I don't know why I'm thinking of this, but I remember reading a book as a kid- maybe it was Ella Enchanted? Anyway. In the said book, the main character had a magical book in which random things would appear, like diary entries from the main character's love intrest saying how much he loved her, etc; I was just thinking how useful and usless a thing like that would actually be. Useful in the fact that ypou can learn all the private things, but useless in the fact tthat you can't really use it, unless you can find a way to use said information without letting the person know you read their private thoughts.

So... Yeah.

10 Things I've Done Since My Last Entry

In no chronological order, because I'm just that lazy.

(1) Put on Wizard of Oz!
It really was an awesome show. It really is a rewarding experience to be in a play, something I will be repeating hopefully next fall.

(2) Posted MANY deviantart journal entries and random deviations!
things that my friends SHOULD look at... ;) check em out if you have the chance!

(3) Got an award for having straight A's freshman year.
What a joke of an award.

(4) Got into senior honors spanish!
by being awesome.

(5) HAD AN AWESOME 16THH BIRTHDAY PARTY.
Jazz cafe of the century. You guys rock.

(6) Bought a fife!
Mr. Moran won't email me back to see if i got in fife corps though... -.-

(7) Visited A LOT of colleges.
Ithaca is still my favorite.

(8) Gone to the Corning Glass Museum and Watkins Glenn with Alana and CJ!
And had some good turtle cheesecake.

(9) Went to Westport, MA and did some signtseeing of beautiful New England!
Did I mention that I love New England and their accents?

(10) Went to Flo's Clam Shack and had the best clam cakes IN THE WORLD.

Writer's Block: My Definition of Greatness

How do you define greatness?

I must say, I thought that this was a great question before I saw the huge "Nature Made: Fuel Your Greatness!" ad beneath it.

2 updates in two days? chyeah right.

No, my friends, I assure you, 'tis true.

Since I find myself with a few hours of extra time (avoiding homework DOES have its advantages!!!), I will try to accomplish my goal of CREATING AN ENTIRE FREEDOM LIVEJOURNAL COMMUNITY.

This will somehow work. I just know it.

So, anyway, I'll take a stab at an Alana-style post.

5 Things I'm Thankful for!!!

(1.) The weather, because it's just BEAUTIFUL outside today :)

(2.) Theatre company, for giving me an excuse to avoid my daily duties and obligations

(3.) Alana, for giving me the idea for this entry :P

(4.) The rest of the family not being up, so I can just relax :)

(5.) The sound of wind chimes, which for no reason at all makes me happy.

Okay, Freedom people. Chances are I have sent you a link to this journal entry, and 50% of you have read up to here! If so, congratulations! Doesn't this look funnnn???! Don't YOU want to try it?!

I have a Livejournal?

Yes, it's me, brought back by popular demand ;) sort of.

Life has just been so hectic recently! Theatre has been officially eating my life, but It's somehow all worth it, all for that final curtain close and thunderous applause. yeahhhhhhh. I stay at school for 11 hours on most days, and 4 hours on Saturdays. I miss the days when i COULD just come home and update my livejournal.

but whatever.

So I'm a Slacker

so perhaps I've been slacking in my livejournal duties, for the four of you that actually read this. I'm still working on the whole "make-a-livejournal-community-of-my-friends" thing. O well, whatever :)

Now, on to matters of grave importance!!!

Well, maybe they're not THAT important.

Things that have happened since my last entry:
~I bought some new clothes! :P
~we had a pointlessly annoying fire drill.
~my new, worry-free semester started!!!
~I've learned that Neela has a soul o.O
~we spent a whole block of health class drawing pictures about "Why I'm Special."
~I managed to write NOTHING.
~I managed to accomplish NOTHING.

***

Things that I will try to have completed in the immediate future/next century
~complete said "Why I'm Special" poster.
~start doing productive things in the Wizard of Oz :)
~stop draining my brain with television
~grow out my nails
~read the rest of A Clockwork Orange
~Return Terese's book
~write in my livejournal
~create said Livejournal community.
       ~use force is necessary. ;)

Writer's Block: Clothing Options

When it comes to clothes, would you rather be comfortable or fashionable?

View 501 Answers

This question is found to be void by me, since most fashion I consider quite as comfortable as sweats/sweatshirts/etc! Of course, it could be a psychological thing (I feel better when I look better) but I really feel that most fashions can feel good and look good as well ^_^

and there's my two cents~

Writer's Block: True Crime

Today is the anniversary of the death of Elizabeth Short, also known as the Black Dahlia. What real-life murder story are you most fascinated by?

View 500 Answers

I didn't respond to this writer's block area because I had an actual opinion or story on the matter, I just have this to say:

Why do we mark the anniversary of someone's death?
that's a bid morbid, no?

Writer's Block: Back to School

What fictional high school—from tv, film, or a book—would you most like to attend? Or would you rather never go near high school again, fictional or otherwise?

View 502 Answers

well, that's easy.

What (fictional) high school would I go to? No, friends. Not Shermer High School. I would go to
HOGWARTS.

What better school could there be? Sure, you might be late to class because you didn't ask a door to open politely, but in my opinion, more doors SHOULD be as such. Who would be rude to a door? Honestly.

That's all, folks!!!

Facebook and Livejournal UNITE!!!

Okay, so I JUST THIS VERY MOMENT discovered that I can have these journal entries show up on my facebook....!

So I shall.

This is a test entry....

But for all of my facebook friends who loved me enough to click on this link, keep checking for actual entries, or, better yet, make your own lj so that I can have more than 4 friends :) :) :)

One Down, Two to Go......~!

So, I've successfully completed my algebra 2 final! w00t!

and better yet, I won't have math for the rest of the year!!!!! <3 <3 <3

So, as Neela and Ashley may have noticed, my new goal is to make a nice livejournal community from people at our school- it's nice having you guys to talk to, but since my friends list has a total of 4 people, I'm intent of starting a new circle of people from Freedom :)

Especially since I know some people that mourn the death of Xanga, this probably won't be too hard :D

Two more finals tommorow- English and History! Must study!

Finals? WHAT?

It's the most fun time of the year, FINALS!

I mean, who doesn't love finals? Besides that fact that I have to cram in months full of information into my head until it explodes for a 200-question test that ultimately encompasses the amount of points of an enitre semester? That, in the event that I fail one of said tests (did I mention that I have THREE?) I risk not only dropping to academic, but it brings down my class average and chances of getting into AP courses. Not getting into AP courses effects getting into a prestigious school. Getting into a prestigious school ultimately decides my career, which in turn effects my life.

THEREFORE, IF I FAIL THESE FINALS, I WILL FAIL AT LIFE.

If you followed, I love you.

If you didn't, I completely understand.

Now, onto more important matters.

ALANA IS AWESOME. Because she made a great poem that was inspired by me, making not only my day or my week but probably my entire year :D which is sort  of sad since we're only a few weeks into this new year, but it is all worth it, truly.

And now for me to actually get to studying!

Writer's Block: Set Sail

Spike and Angel, President Roslin and Gaius Baltar, Harry and Hermione—shippers often find pairings that the original author might have overlooked. What coupling of fictional characters would you most like to see?

View 505 Answers

I yet again proclaim my love to the "writer's block' function. I love you, writer's block.....

Okay. Anyway.

As you may or may not know, I was quite a Potterhead in my Middle School years. This has dissipated with my entrance to high school, yet I still have some of my old Potter needs. It's time for me to say what I truly think, without any convictions.

~drumroll~

I, Claireenut, am a Hermione-Draco shipper.

Let me explain.

I'm not as such because i see any indication in the series that they should truly be together, mostly due to the fact that they don't really have a huge interaction, except when Draco's making fun of her, which any mother will tell you could be a playground sign of somebody liking you [;)] but that's a bit of a stretch, I'm aware. No, I think that I just ship as such (even though I know it didn't and won't happen) because I like to think that opposites attract, etc, and each person turns into a better person by being with someone who they're not like. I like to think that Hermione could make Draco more studious and less evil, and Draco could make Hermione less of a wimp.

Mostly, I think it's my own desires being projected onto fictional characters, but being what they are (again, fictional characters) I'll live ;)

Writer's Block: Top 10

It's the time of year for "10 Best" lists. What's on your personal 10 Best—events, movies, music, anything—list for 2008?

View 500 Answers

Let me start off by saying that this little 'writer's block' box is possibly the most ingenious thing I've ever come across in my entire life.

I don't know about best movies or  music, but my Top Ten Best Nights/Days of 2008 are as follows, 1 Being the best of the best:

10.) The Band Banquet, May 2, 2008: Not anything that happened in the days afterward, but the banquet was pretty cool. I got to hang out with my best friends and say goodbye to some jerky seniors, what's not to love?

9.) The Day I got a callback for The Crucible. I was just so happy that all my work paid off, and even though I didn't get into the show I was walking on air all week :)

8.) The day Mr. Moran made me play alto clarinet: made me conquer my fear of slightly outlandish instruments :) And it made band and orchestra interesting again!

7.) The day I got into The Wizard of Oz. :)

6.) Various Football games: now THOSE were fun. And our team was actually winning for most of this year, so it was even better!

5.) Going to Dorney Park with Alison V, Alessandra, and James. Just an all-around fun day that ended with us all getting soaked senseless :)

4.) Various nights hanging with Terese & co. at bonfires :) Late night, making dirty jokes, yelling to the heavens, what's not to like?

3.) My Birthday: Not only did I enter my fifteenth year, but I repaired a bridge that I thought was completely unrepairable.

2.) Myrtle Beach days: I got to hang out with my entire family for the first time in years! (minus Alana, but we missed you dearly!)

1.) Prom Night: May 9, 2008. This really goes without explanation, it was just the funnest night ever :)

Snow day :)

Yay!

On the one hand, I'm excited to be out today.
But on the other, I DID promise the eventual Neela and Aunt Alana that I would post something today if I did :/

Soooooo here is said entry.

So I just got the schedule for theatre company's practices. I'm an ensemble member, ( a munchkin teacher and an Ozian greeter) so I figured the schedule might not be too hectic, but DUDE was I wrong. Since I'm in both acts, I have practice almost every day after school and on most Saturdays. o.O

I counted up the number of days I will be free to just do nothing after school. 8 Days.

8 DAYS in the next 3 MONTHS.

Oh well, I signed up for this~  :) So I'm not complaining anymore.

Interesting.

Hello, Eventual Neela and Aunt Alana :)

So I just made this here livejournal thing. So far I think it's pretty sweet. I mean, it runs slow as anything on my Netbook, but everything runs slow on my netbook :)

So I basically made it because, [yes, cliche] I'm just BORED. Just plain bored and tired. I have a journal on Deviantart that nobody reads, nor the things I post on Deviantart either. So perhaps this will be somewhat different. A new experience. Yeahhhhhh.

Okay, So let's just leave it at that; If we have a snow day tomorrow [which may be likely] I'll write more.
